The first step to bringing your new web video to life is to contact Nate (416.278.3033) to arrange the time and place for your video shoot. All shoots are held on either a Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Nate will allot a 45 minute slot for you to shoot whatever you want. He will also give you an invaluable tip sheet that will help you prepare for your big day. The tip sheet covers a number of topics that will make the shoot easier for both you and us. It includes simple tips such as wardrobe suggestions, as well as a link to some sample scripts to help you prepare for your shoot.
On shoot day we will arrive eager and ready to film. We try to make use of available light whenever possible, however if additional lighting is required we may need a few minutes to set up. All of your preparations will be covered in your tip sheet.
Following the shoot we will process and edit your video as needed. Once complete we will email you a link and a secret password that you can use to view your new web video. We allow you one round of minor changes to your video, so watch it thoroughly and in the rare event that there are any typos or errors make sure you tell us. An easy-to-use response form will be provided to you under the video if you need to send us any notes. From this link you will also be able to access “Gettin’ Started! a guide for easy web video sharin’.” It’s chocked full of useful step-by-step tutorials and useful tips for uploading and sharing your video on the web. You’ll need it because once the final video is complete you will be able to download the final compressed versions of your brand new video and start sharing it with the world.
Although we will continue to offer the Web Video Starter Package, we can only offer it at this special price for a limited time. After April 30, 2010 the cost of this package will have to be raised to $249! Although that in itself is an amazing value, by acting now you are saving over $50!
